SEPTEMBER 15th, 2007
1995 World Rally Champion Colin McRae died in a helicopter accident on his estate in Scotland. Also on board was his five-year-old son Johnny, his six-year-old friend Ben Porcelli and 37-year-old family friend Graeme Duncan.. My condolences go out to there friends and families at this terrible time.
Colin was a true legend who was always spectacular behind the wheel. Never afraid to push the car to its limits he always drove at ten tenths. His commitment to rally in all its forms from the World Rally Championship to the Paris Dakar was brilliant to watch and the world has lost an amazing star. Goodbye Colin you’ll never be forgotten.
